One of the most important women in history. This is a woman who selflessly sacrificed years of her life. For the Lewis and Clark expedition. She served as translator, guide, medicine woman, and carried her baby boy, Jean Babtiste Pompey Charboneau. And I also being Native American and a sacrificing mom feel that the town of Seaside Oregon the place where the expedition spent two years should erect a statue for her. There is a statue of Lewis and Clark also featuring their dog but is absent of this heroic woman. This is a very important person in our history and I intend that her statue will be erected within the next 12 months! Please check out some of my art that I am selling in hopes of raising money and awareness for this worthy cause!
